Two South Beach Walks From Delano Miami Beach
Start with Café Delano, then walk north for art and gardens or south for The Wolfsonian and Española Way. Plan opening days and an evening back at Delano.
Privately Known

Begin with coffee at Café Delano, then choose a direction from the hotel's Collins Avenue address. These are two separate walking plans, not a checklist to rush through in one day: north for contemporary art and gardens, south for design history and an evening on Española Way.
North: Collins Park, The Bass and the garden
Walk north on Collins Avenue to Collins Park and The Bass. Give the exhibition you want to see its own time rather than treating the museum as a quick stop on the way elsewhere. Then head west toward Convention Center Drive for Miami Beach Botanical Garden.
Inside the garden, look for the Japanese Garden's red bridge over the pond and the Florida Pine Rockland Garden. They offer two distinct settings: a composed garden scene and a planting that introduces a rare South Florida habitat. Leave room to pause, and check the visitor information for any access changes before setting out.

South: The Wolfsonian–FIU, then Española Way
Head south and make your way to The Wolfsonian–FIU at Washington Avenue and 10th Street. Let the museum's design and decorative arts provide the focus of this walk; check the current exhibitions before choosing your day.
Return north by Española Way for its Mediterranean Revival architecture, or time the return for dinner there. Look at the arches, stucco and tiled roofs rather than assuming every historic South Beach building is Art Deco. The city's architecture page provides the wider context; a restaurant table is a separate arrangement.

Choose the day before the route
The Bass and The Wolfsonian normally close on Mondays and Tuesdays. Miami Beach Botanical Garden normally opens Tuesdays, so a Tuesday garden outing is not automatically a museum day as well. For either walk, check the venues' current visitor pages for hours, exhibitions, holidays and temporary closures. Build in water, shade breaks and a pace that suits your group, without relying on a promised walking time.
Back at Delano: drinks or a group dinner
Finish at Rose Bar, or ask about a group dinner at Gigi Rigolatto. Confirm hours, table availability and group arrangements directly. A dinner or drinks reservation is not beach or pool access; those terms need their own confirmation.
Mimi Kakushi, on the fourth floor, is open only to overnight hotel guests and Delano Members Club members. It is not a general-access stop to add to a South Beach walk, and a reservation elsewhere at Delano does not remove that restriction.

Send Noemie your dates, guest count and room priorities, with the walk you have in mind. Ask for the exact room category and written stay terms; museum admission, dinner, beach access and any other extras should be checked separately.
