Where to Sleep and Swim With Kids at 1 Hotel South Beach

Choose beds and nap space first, then plan a family pool day, lunch at The SandBox and age-appropriate Seedlings time.

A family stay at 1 Hotel South Beach starts with the afternoon nap, not the rooftop. Decide who needs to sleep while someone else reads, plays or has a quiet lunch, then choose the room arrangement around that overlap.

Separate beds, a living room or a connecting door?

Two queen beds can solve separate sleeping preferences without creating a second room. If adults need somewhere to sit while a child naps, ask Noemie for a layout with a genuinely separate living room and confirm its door and sleeping arrangements. Two rooms next to each other are not the same as rooms joined by an interior door: request connecting rooms explicitly and obtain hotel confirmation before relying on that setup. Send the children's ages, who shares with whom and the usual nap time.

Make the Center Pool the family base

Use the Center Pool for a shared swim and lunch at The SandBox, then leave room for a return upstairs when naps are due. Ask separately about cabanas, shade and any charges. The rooftop pool is for guests aged 21 and over; it is not the family swimming alternative.

Seedlings welcomes children aged 4–10. Check the actual session availability before planning an adult appointment around it, and confirm enrollment, timing and charges. A child's eligible age does not reserve a place.

A small discovery on the way upstairs

Invite the children to look up in the lobby: its ceiling uses salvaged timber from water towers in Alaska. It is something real to spot between the pool and the room, without adding another outing to a tired afternoon.

Ask Noemie to confirm the exact category, beds, separate spaces or interior connecting door for your dates. Keep fees, selected extras and cancellation terms in the full written quote. This is a plan to request, not confirmed room or children's-program availability.
