The Hotel Collection

Mr. C Miami – Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove, Miami

The Cipriani family's take on a small hotel: Venetian blue, porthole windows and a rooftop pool above the leafy streets of Coconut Grove — not a beach hotel, and not trying to be.

Character

A European hotel in a Miami village

Mr. C was created by Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, grandsons of the founder of Harry's Bar in Venice, and the hotel carries that lineage lightly: lacquered wood, nautical portholes, deep blues and a service style that leans formal and personal rather than loud.

It sits in Coconut Grove, Miami's oldest neighborhood, among banyan trees, marinas and walkable cafés. That is the point. Choose it if you want the city — Brickell meetings, Grove dinners, a Vizcaya morning — and are happy to treat the beach as an outing. Couples and solo business travelers tend to suit it best; families needing a pool to play in all day may find it small.

Dining and evenings

Bellinis, naturally

  • Bellini is the rooftop restaurant and bar, Italian in spirit, with views over the Grove and the bay.
  • Il Giardino is the hotel's garden-level setting for more relaxed meals and coffee.

Hours and menus change; Noemie can request tables but cannot guarantee them, particularly for sunset on weekends.

Pool and beach

Rooftop pool; the beach is a drive away

The rooftop pool and deck are the hotel's outdoor heart. Mr. C is not beachfront. Any Miami Beach access is by separate transport and subject to the hotel's current arrangements and terms, which we confirm before you rely on them.

Wellness

Keeping it simple

Expect a fitness room rather than a destination spa. Bayfront running paths and the Grove's parks are minutes away, and in-room or local treatments can be arranged on request through the hotel.

Location and planning

Walkable Grove, quick to the city

CocoWalk, the marinas and Peacock Park are within a short walk; Brickell and downtown are a brief drive, and Miami International Airport is closer than from the beaches. Ask for higher floors if a bay glimpse matters.

Choosing well

Bay view or park view?

The Premier rooms split between bay and park outlooks. Bay views bring water and sunrise light; park views look over the Grove's canopy and tend to feel more private. Both are good — tell Noemie which you prefer rather than leaving it to chance.
