The Hotel Collection

The Miami Beach EDITION

Mid-Beach, Miami Beach

A pale, polished Mid-Beach resort where the pools, the restaurant and a basement full of play keep the evening going without leaving the property.

Character

Restraint by day, momentum by night

EDITION took the 1950s Seville building on Collins Avenue and stripped it back to white, gold and garden green. The result is calmer than its reputation: mornings are spent between the oceanfront pool and the sand, and the volume rises after dark when the lobby bar and the restaurant fill.

It suits travelers who want a scene they can opt into rather than one they have to live inside. Couples who like a late dinner and a quiet room do well here, as do groups of friends who want to stay together and still have evening options on site. Families can make it work, though the property's energy is aimed at adults.

Dining and evenings

Dinner, then downstairs

  • Matador Room is the main dining room, with Latin American and Caribbean influences.
  • Market at EDITION covers casual daytime eating.
  • Tropicale is the poolside option for lunch and drinks.
  • Basement offers bowling and an indoor ice rink, currently open daily from 5–11 pm, with ages 21 and over after 9 pm. Basement Club opens for private events only.

Concepts, menus and schedules change seasonally, so Noemie confirms what is operating for your dates before suggesting reservations. Table requests are not guaranteed.

Pools and beach

Two pools and a garden path to the sand

There are two pools: a larger, more social one and a quieter setting. Beach service runs from the hotel's stretch of sand in front of the gardens. Plunge pools exist only with select top-level bungalows, so do not assume one comes with a bungalow category.

Wellness

Spa and fitness

The hotel has a spa and a fitness center. Treatments, classes and any thermal access are booked and confirmed with the hotel; schedules vary and are not included unless your quote says so.

Location and planning

Mid-Beach, slightly apart

At 29th Street the hotel sits north of the South Beach crush yet within a short ride of Lincoln Road and the Art Deco District, and south of Faena District. Weekends and event weeks such as Art Basel book early; share flexible dates if you can.

Choosing well

Picking your EDITION

Bungalows are the hotel's most distinctive option, but choose them for the garden access rather than assuming extras. If evenings in the Basement are on the plan, a tower room higher up offers the most separation from late-night sound.

Planning with Noemie

What Noemie handles

Noemie Marcoux helps choose your room, check available rates and explore applicable Fora benefits. Benefits depend on property, rate, dates and availability—not guaranteed upgrades, breakfast or credits. She can coordinate dining requests and your Miami itinerary, with cars, transfers and yacht experiences through Privately Known's suppliers quoted separately.

Concierge support applies to qualifying hotel or home bookings made directly through Noemie via Fora, within an agreed scope. Membership or car rental alone does not qualify. Ordinary booking support remains available for the booking purchased.
